Welcome to the website of Burton Latimer Heritage Society
Thanks to a grant from The Heritage Lottery Fund, a project is underway to train volunteers to produce pages on this site to cover the complete history of Burton Latimer, with features on all aspects of its history from the Domesday Book in 1086 up to the present day. To see details about the launch of the Society's DVD, click here Click on one of the navigation bars on this page for the latest information on the project, topics being researched, and where more help and information is needed. Click the relevant links or pictures in the feature gallery above to investigate that part of Burton's history.
Note: to enjoy the audio and video clips and other interactive features on the site, you will need to have a Flash Player and a Quicktime player installed on your computer. If you don't have one or both of these, click here to download the Flash Player and here to download the Quicktime Player.
