The Medical Centre was opened in 2004. Although the placing of the centre in this area of town was somewhat controversial, a site was needed with adequate car parking. All the major development is planned for this part of the town.

The Centre provides high quality care in a modern, well equipped building. A wide range of medical services is available including health promotion and screening as well as diagnosis and treatment of illness. The centre is involved with ongoing training through the Primary Care Trust.

The area served by the practice extends from Weekley in the north, Broughton to the west, Great Harrowden to the south and Great Addington to the West, in addition to its branch surgery at Finedon.
