Burton Latimer Fire Brigade - 1910/20's
This Shand Mason manual pump engine was one of two used by the Burton Latimer Fire Brigade between 1901 and 1927. The third seated man may be Jack Bugby and Bill Rickards is standing extreme right.

There is relatively little information held by the Society at present about the identities of the people who have served the emergency services over the years. Such information as exists has been gathered from various sources and those names that are known are listed below.

Ken Hartill (pictured left) joined the Fire Service in 1973 and retired on the 5th Jan 2004, after 31 years 6 months of service,
