Master Hugh Ashton: 1522

Rector of Burton Latimer 30 July 1522 His successor was instituted 12 Jan 1522/3

Only held the position a few months before he died. He also held very many senior and valuable livings up and down the country. He was said to have been one of the first alumni of St. John’s College, Cambridge and his tomb is in St. John's College Chapel although he was originally buried in York Minster.
